How true is this?
Imagine being invited to a party where you don’t know anyone.
You come through the entrance, grab a drink, and stand there feeling like a pony with five legs,
Nobody seems to pay attention to you,
After a while, you start sidling to the door in order to escape. Or maybe you tough it out and start ‘making conversation’.
Ok, so this scenario isn’t very catchy.
Here’s another scenario: You go to the same party. But this time, the host spots you from the doorstep, everyone is glancing at you, you are handed a drink and shown around, introduced to other guests.
That would feel a lot better, right?
The difference lies in the reception.
In the first scenario, you didn’t feel welcome. Whereas in the second scenario, your host connected with you.
Let’s assume everybody looked the same(fasial look), what do people notice first when you walk in?
Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak, you walk into a room full of strangers, someone can tell or rather judge your personality, habits excetera.. there is a difference between someone who puts on jeans to work and someone who puts on a suit(from my point of view). You will always be advised to dress in official wear when attending interviews or when meeting formally new people.
Why so?
You can never go wrong with a black suit, white shirt and a black tie, whether you have taste for fashion or not. And this is the same case with an official dress for ladies.
I feel like you can easily hide yourself in style and fashion. Imagine going through depression, God forbid, but you turn up in the office in your best suit, nobody can ever tell!
Looking good makes you feel good which in return boosts your confidence, makes you “unstoppable!”
