La mode est l’armure pour survivre à la réalité de la vie quotidienne.

“Drip ka vyombo zimeoshwa sahii
Tisho piga fiting ndio msupa atii
Kabla ufike ligi ya cladi za mi
Kwanza jua bei ya Denri ndo upime my G eeh”

“Swag refers to the way you look and present yourself, and it comes from hip hop culture. When you dress with swag, you have a keen fashion sense and confidence in your style. People who dress with swag have a detail oriented view of their clothing that ensures they make a statement with every outfit”

Now how does swag/fashion/drip affect music, music and music artists’ popularity. How does your fashion style affect the reception of your music?
90% of what I understand and know about getting dressed is through musical artists, their fashion style and what they showcase on their musical videos.
Musical artists are undoubtedly the biggest fashion trend setters today and even in the past.
Whatever Nyashinski and the cleptomaniacs wore on swing swing, stood out to many of us back then, music stars seemed to be from another planet and were dressed to demonstrate as much, and we wanted to be as fresh as they were, from Wahu in sitishiki to Mr Googs on yuanitaka, the baggy jeans and oversized tees, that was the DRIP!
